Kelly is humbled to have been the recipient of a number of awards and honors over the years. Some of her proudest achievements include:

Philadelphia’s Business Journal’s “40 Under 40″ (2012). The 40 Under 40 award recognizes young professionals in the Delaware Valley for outstanding success and contributions to their community. They were selected from more than 250 nominations and represent some the region’s most entrepreneurial and influential up-and-comers in the Delaware Valley.
Awesome Attorney (2012). Suburban Life Magazine voted Kelly as one of the top attorneys in Tax Law for 2012. Her nod will appear in the December 2012 issue of the magazine.
ABA Journal’s Blawg 100 (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012). The editors of the ABA Journal have selected Taxgirl.com as one of the Blawg 100, the top 100 best law blogs by lawyers, for the past four years. The ABA said, about my blog in 2011:
Kelly Phillips Erb has a passion for tax law that is infectious, but more importantly she has the ability to explain that which so many fear. We’re not the only ones who think so. Earlier this year, the witty, engaging Philadelphia lawyer was invited to move her blog to Forbes.com, where she continues to uncover email tax scams, analyze pending tax legislation and examine every inch of the IRS she can access.
And in 2012:
You’ve got a few more months until taxes are due, but you can read Taxgirl year-round. Philadelphian Kelly Phillips Erb blogs about taxes for Forbes, and it’s not just a personal finance blog; she also reports on political wrangling over tax legislation and tax-related news from the media. If you want to know about the tax woes of Prince and Michael Vick, Taxgirl’s your girl.
Outstanding Volunteer of the Year (2005). Kelly was recognized as an Outstanding Volunteer of the Year with Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
